How to Position an Image for Printing in Lightroom – Ask Andrew D Show #001

Well, the day has finally arrived! Show #001 of Ask Andrew D about Lightroom for Mac Users is finally here! The show will be delivered weekly as a video show as well as an audio podcast, and this website is the best place to find it. There are also some subscribe options below.

What’s the show all about? It’s a video show comprised of 5 to 20 minute Lightroom tutorials. In each episode I will answer at least one question about Lightroom workflow, backup or printing related to the Macintosh OS that I believe will help others get more from the application. If you have a question for me, I welcome you to ask it via THIS PAGE.

Subscribe to the show on YouTube (you will be asked to confirm your subscription on the page that pops up).

Below are the three calibration files mentioned in the video*.

All three files below are available in zip format (just unzip the file to open the folder). CLICK HERE to DOWNLOAD THE ZIP FILE
• Square calibration file shown in the screencast.
• 4×6 inch calibration file that includes a B&W portion (ideal for printing at a photo lab).
• PhotoDisk target (includes a license in PDF form for how it may be used).

*By downloading any of the above files you agree that they will be used for personal use only (they may not be sold or distributed). Feel free to share the link to this page when recommending the files to others.

If you are curious how I fixed the problem I mentioned during the show re: Backblaze, here is a link to the page that describes how to fix the issue. They give you two choices at the end of the page, and the one that worked for me was “Transfer Backup State.” The problem can happen if you boot up from a cloned computer that has Backblaze on it.
